There are clear and could fit small earrings or rings in them. I bought them for a different purpose. I put money in them and stuck them in a candy box as a gift for my niece. They were perfect for this. And she can use them to keep her jewelry in if she wants to. They are affordable. They seem to be of decent quality...I have opened and shut them many times with no breaking or problems. The box they come in is a great box (nothing special but it stronger than cardboard). The price is excellent. These are so cute and perfect for what I was looking for.Very cute, easy to open but would stay securely closed...great for carrying jewelry in a handbag. Will buy again to use as a gift with purchase.
