Rugged, durable case, and the attached ring is very solid. No worries about hanging the weight of the phone from the ring, although after ~1 month of ownership it's not longer tight in its casing and can't be used as reliable kickstand (it's firm, but swings freely so the phone would be propped up for ~1 second until a small movement causes it to fall). Still, if you go in knowing it does NOT work as a kickstand in the long-term, you should be happy. The back of the case is also fairly flush w/out pointy ends, so it doesn't get stuck going into/out of your pocket. It's only somewhat grippable compared to other cases - could definitely slide out of your hand or off the table more easily than some other cases I've seen. But build quality is high.
